Trisha Atkinson, DON, has been named one of 15 women nationwide for the McKnights Women of Distinction 2025 Rising Stars Award. The Rising Star awards category honors women who are either 40 or younger or have fewer than 15 years of experience in their respective careers. All have demonstrated an exceptional commitment at the community, facility, agency, or corporate level.
Her nomination included her hard work as DON, leading Clement Manor with deficiency-free state surveys, assisting with the Joint Commission accreditation process, staffing restructuring, strategic hiring, retention, and training practices, assisting with a long process to eliminate agency hours, streamlining operations, and much more.
