Clement Manor Campus Administrator, Carly Loewus, receives national women’s award

We are very excited to announce that Carly Loewus, Clement Manor Campus Administrator, has been selected as one of sixteen of McKnight’s Senior Living Women of Distinction Rising Stars 2023 award recipients!

McKnight’s Long-Term Care News is a national business news brand serving leaders in the institutional long-term care field, focusing on the higher-needs skilled nursing setting. Readers run the nation’s more than 15,000 senior living homes and are collectively charged with providing quality eldercare services for more than 1.5 million residents annually.

The McKnights Women of Distinction Award is an exciting program highlighting and honoring remarkable women who have made and continue to make amazing contributions in the senior living, skilled nursing and home care markets.

The Rising Star awards category honors women who have fewer than 15 years of experience in the skilled nursing, senior living or home care fields or are 40 years old or younger. All have demonstrated an exceptional commitment at the community, facility, agency or corporate level.

“Carly has given to Clement Manor exceptional leadership, which all of us have benefited – the residents, families, staff and volunteers. When the COVID pandemic materialized, I needed someone who was so passionate about the safety of others that they would dedicate the time needed to meet the needs of others and who put everyone’s protection above their own. Carly led the team with such compassion and understanding of the feelings of others through the journey in the long-term care setting. When the vaccine first came out, Carly put together a special celebration of reaching this milestone by establishing systems for educating residents, assuring that everyone was safe in getting the vaccine, and then welcoming all staff to get the vaccine. She helped establish Clement Manor as one of the first long-term care organizations to mandate the vaccine for staff, with the goal of the safety of the residents. I feel totally blessed to have such a compassionate individual as part of the Clement Manor team,” said Dennis Ferger, Clement Manor CEO.

Carly will be honored at an awards dinner and educational event in Chicago on May 22nd.

Congratulations, Carly, for receiving this prestigious national award, honoring the best of the best women in the Rising Stars category! Clement Manor is proud to have you on our team.
